OUR PRODUCTS

Idea-Tec has created products manufactured with recycled styrofoam. Our product portfolio includes high performance floor paints, paints for metals, zinc and galvanized, water enamel, thermal insulation paints, concrete seals to avoid dust, metal primers, and all of them produced with at least 14% recycled styrofoam (EPS).

“Glacier”, with 20% recycled EPS material, is a paint designed for outdoor use. It reduces the temperature of hot spaces by up to 8 °C*, thanks to a highly reflective formulation and 3M Glass Bubbles inside.
*When comparing a virgin metal surface with and without GLACIER.

Our water enamel “Evol”, with 14% recycled EPS material, is a paint for concrete walls, stucco, plaster, brick, drywall, OSB, OLB, chipboard, and similar materials. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.

The floor paint “Groen”, with 20% recycled EPS material, is a high-traffic paint designed to demarcate and paint warehouses, production plants, roads, streets, parking lots, and more, whether on asphalt or concrete surfaces.

“Croma”, with 20% recycled EPS material, is a weather-resistant paint for metal and iron, designed for painting industrial machinery and metal structures such as parking barriers, bike racks, fences, playground equipment, handrails, and much more.

“Croma Zinc”, with 20% recycled EPS material, is a durable, weather-resistant paint designed for painting warehouse walls, production plants, roofs, and more, whether on zinc or galvanized surfaces.

“Kanter”, with 30% recycled EPS material, is a colorless, durable concrete seal that gives your floor shine and is easy to clean. It’s designed to prevent dust emissions and also protect Groen floor paint, thus increasing its lifespan.

“Ecoler-M”, with 21,5% recycled EPS material, is a sustainable primer that promotes strong adhesion of Croma and Croma Zinc paints on metal, zinc, and galvanized surfaces. It is used to improve adhesion on roofs, industrial machinery, and metal structures.

All these products are widely used in production facilities, warehouses, containers, parking lots, and a large number of types of places. Our customers prefer these paints over others not only because of their environmental contribution, but also due to their performance. All of them have excellent performance/price ratio, so they are usually chosen over others.

Idea-Tec products are especially attractive to sectors that want and need the reduction of their carbon footprint and have sustainability policies that encourage the use of sustainable products that also solves problems like styrofoam residues.

Learn how we transform styrofoam into paints

To transform styrofoam into paints, we receive the material in our installations; then, the styrofoam is introduced into a specially designed machine that mixes the material in order to extract the air and transform the styrofoam into a resin. After that, the resin is used to manufacture paint. Finally, the paint is packaged and shipped to customers.
