What is Plumavit?
Plumavit, also known as expanded polystyrene or EPS, is a very bulky foam plastic, 50 times the volume of water. It can remain on our planet for hundreds of years without degrading, leading to significant environmental pollution. Not only is it a non-degradable plastic that harms flora and fauna, but it also occupies so much space that it prevents other materials from using that area in landfills.
How do we recycle Plumavit?
The transformation begins when Plumavit undergoes a process of shredding and mixing with substances that remove the air from the material and dissolve it, creating a substance known as resin. This resin is then mixed with components like talc to form sustainable paint that not only helps improve a wall but also makes a positive impact on the world!
